You know that massive list of goals that I wrote last year - 23 in total! Well, how did I get on with that? In this video, I share the outcomes to all of my goals I set for 2015 this time last year. 2015 has been the best year of my life. I quit my 9-5 job, I've started my own company, I've made more money than I've ever done before, I have some fantastic memories, and I've become the best version of myself so far. But it hasn't all gone to plan.... I've not accomplished what I wanted in certain areas and I've encountered some of the same problems I did last year. I tackle them head on in this video. Setting goals is easy. Tracking them, staying accountable and achieving them is a different story. I don't know about you but I love this time of year. I get so much satisfaction from reviewing my previous 12 months. Acknowledging the successes and failures I experienced, and taking away my biggest learning points. All in the effort to improve the following year. So, how did I do?......

Blogging has dropped off, I’ve lost followers and I miss
the connection

Top learning
points:
Structured mornings lead to a successful day. No clarity
and structure leads to reactive working, less satisfaction and slower
work. Energy flows with clarity. Complete morning ritual everyday to set myself up for success.
Become more present. Don’t take the content of my mind
too seriously. Notice the thoughts and smile. I’m not my mind. Being
present makes me feel amazing.
Do what’s right, not what’s easy. Most things are easy to
do, but it’s easier not to do them.
Investing in myself is my most important investment.
Respect myself and make the effort. How I look. It makes
a difference to how I feel.
Cashflow is king. Don’t tie significant sums of money up
without seeing a return. Look for quick, substantial cash returns.
Make my battle stance my everyday stance.
Be forgiving of myself and others.
There is no tomorrow. Do it now, or be prepared to never
do it.
Just do it!
Review goals/priorities daily.
Track everything that’s important to me.
Be reliable and work hard = success
Visualise success,even
when you struggle. It’s easy when you’re winning, but it makes all the
difference to maintain when you’re down.
Avoid ideology – If I can’t argue both sides to any
debate, I have no place contributing.
Every missed chance is an opportunity to learn something.
I want to finish by saying a huge thank you to everyone that has continued to follow and support me this year. I've learned a lot from you guys, you challenge me and you help to keep me accountable. Thank you so much!
Good luck to you all for 2016 and have an amazing New Year!
Best
Huw
